Substation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Substation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide and coordinate the overall protection and control of greenfield and brownfield substations, overseeing and performing the design and application of system protection for all substation equipment from 13kV to 500kV. This role ensures that the development of designs and specifications complies with industry and client-specific standards.

Responsibilities:

Provide and coordinate the overall protection and control of greenfield and brownfield substations.
Oversee and perform the design and application of system protection for all substation equipment from 13kV to 500kV.
Assure that designs and specifications comply with industry and client-specific standards.
Perform and oversee protection relay settings, including fault current calculation, coordination study, protection relay IED configuration, and relay setting reports using relay settings study software.
Develop and interpret single lines and modify AC/DC elementary, panel arrangements, wiring diagrams, circuit schedules, conduit schedules, and bills of materials.
Perform and oversee SCADA/RTU design and engineering.
Develop and lead all aspects of 13kV to 500kV substation electrical and physical design.

Acquire all technical data needed for estimates and execution of new substation development or existing substation expansions.
