Business Development & Proposals Associate

Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive Business Development & Proposals Associate to support our growing pipeline of utility and engineering opportunities. This role will work closely with the Marketing & Business Development Manager to drive proposal development, bid submissions, lead generation, and digital marketing initiatives to enhance DST Engineers’ online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Proposal & Bid Management

  • Identify and evaluate RFP/RFQ opportunities
  • Support end-to-end proposal development and submission
  • Coordinate with internal teams for technical inputs
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements and deadlines
  • Maintain proposal templates and submission documentation

2. Business Development Support

  • Conduct market research and identify potential clients
  • Generate leads through LinkedIn, databases, and industry platforms
  • Assist in outreach campaigns and follow-ups
  • Maintain and update CRM/pipeline trackers

3. Marketing, Digital Presence & Documentation

  • Manage DST Engineers’ LinkedIn account and other digital channels
  • Create and schedule engaging posts, company updates, and thought leadership content
  • Monitor and analyze digital engagement metrics
  • Develop and update company profiles, qualification packages, and capability statements
  • Organize and maintain a repository of past proposals and marketing content

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field)
  • 1–3 years of experience in proposals, business development, or digital marketing (preferred)
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, social media scheduling tools, and basic analytics
