Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive Business Development & Proposals Associate to support our growing pipeline of utility and engineering opportunities. This role will work closely with the Marketing & Business Development Manager to drive proposal development, bid submissions, lead generation, and digital marketing initiatives to enhance DST Engineers’ online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Proposal & Bid Management
- Identify and evaluate RFP/RFQ opportunities
- Support end-to-end proposal development and submission
- Coordinate with internal teams for technical inputs
- Ensure compliance with client requirements and deadlines
- Maintain proposal templates and submission documentation
2. Business Development Support
- Conduct market research and identify potential clients
- Generate leads through LinkedIn, databases, and industry platforms
- Assist in outreach campaigns and follow-ups
- Maintain and update CRM/pipeline trackers
3. Marketing, Digital Presence & Documentation
- Manage DST Engineers’ LinkedIn account and other digital channels
- Create and schedule engaging posts, company updates, and thought leadership content
- Monitor and analyze digital engagement metrics
- Develop and update company profiles, qualification packages, and capability statements
- Organize and maintain a repository of past proposals and marketing content
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field)
- 1–3 years of experience in proposals, business development, or digital marketing (preferred)
- Strong writing and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, social media scheduling tools, and basic analytics
